1) Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the following service areas, age 18+ at time of entry:

  • Los Angeles County
  • Santa Barbara County
  • Ventura County
  • Palm Springs

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Norman’s Nursery and its affiliates are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

2) How to Enter

Eligible participants may enter using one or more of the following methods. All eligible entries are pooled together and have equal odds of winning.

Social Media Entry (Facebook or Instagram)

  1. Like the giveaway post
  2. Like/follow the Norman’s Nursery page/account
  3. Tag three (3) friends in the comments of the giveaway post
  4. Share the giveaway post to your feed or story (must be public for verification)
  5. Comment “Backyard Makeover” on the giveaway post after completing the steps above

Important: If you do not comment “Backyard Makeover” as instructed, you will not be entered via social, even if you completed other actions.

Website Entry Form

Submit the official entry form at this page with your valid first name, last name, and email address. One (1) website entry per person.

Bonus Entry (Optional)

Subscribe to the Norman’s Nursery email list through the form or link provided for one (1) additional entry. Limit one bonus entry per person.

Entry Limits: One (1) social media entry per platform (Facebook and/or Instagram), one (1) website entry, plus one (1) optional bonus entry, for a maximum of four (4) entries per person.

3) Entry Period

Entries open August 11, 2025 and close at 11:59 PM PT on October 30, 2025.

4) Winner Selection & Notification

  • One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on October 31, 2025 using a publicly viewable online random selection tool.
  • The drawing will be conducted via Facebook Live and/or Instagram Story on Norman’s Nursery’s official accounts.
  • Winner will be contacted by Direct Message and/or email (if provided). The winner must respond within 48 hours or an alternate winner may be selected.

5) Prize

One (1) backyard makeover valued at up to $2,000 in plants, trees, and/or nursery materials from Norman’s Nursery.

  • Prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be substituted.
  • Prize must be redeemed and installation scheduled within 60 days of winner announcement.
  • Service must occur within the eligible service areas listed in Section 1.
  • Homeowner approval and any HOA/municipal compliance are the winner’s responsibility.
  • Irrigation, hardscape, demolition, hauling, and utilities are excluded unless explicitly stated in writing by Norman’s Nursery.
  • Images/video may be captured on-site for marketing purposes (see Section 9).

6) Entry Verification

Norman’s Nursery may verify compliance, age, residency, and (for social entries) proof of public share. Entries by bots, duplicate accounts, or fraudulent means are disqualified.

7) Limitations & General Conditions

  • Incomplete, non-public, or non-compliant entries are void.
  • We are not responsible for technical failures, platform outages, or lost/late entries.
  • We may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical issues, or other factors impair its integrity.
  • Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8) Platform Release & No Sponsorship

By entering, you release and hold harmless Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, and Instagram from any liability. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.

Do I have to post “Backyard Makeover” to be entered?
Yes, for social entries. Without that exact comment, your social entry is not eligible.

Can I enter on the website instead of social?
Yes. Submitting the official form counts as one (1) entry.

Do website entries have the same odds?
Yes. All entries are pooled together and have equal odds of winning.

How is the winner selected?
Random drawing on October 31, 2025 using an online random tool.

What if my social account is private?
Your share must be public, or you must provide a screenshot upon request.
